Flexibility is an important factor in any training regimen – but calisthenics can be especially revealing of limited ROM. If the muscles surrounding your joints are always contracted – or “tight” – then hanging from a bar or doing an L-sit can feel impossible. We work on flexibility through a combination of techniques:

· Myofascial Rolling with Lacrosse Balls
· Foam Rolling
· Static and Active Stretching
· Yoga-Inspired Movements

Recovery is another performance-factor that is often underestimated. The term “recovery” encompasses a lot of things: food, hydration, and sleep, to name a few. Generally, it means anything that helps return you to your normal state. But the best recovery hack of all is also the simplest: get into a rest state, get on the floor, and get grounded. That’s the Recovery portion of Flexibility & Recovery: simply put, it’s down time.
